What is a Multicar discount?

A Multicar discount is a discount we offer to esure Car Insurance customers who have more than one car in their household. When you, or anyone permanently living with you, insures additional cars directly with esure via the ‘Get a quote’ links on this page we’ll discount every new car insurance policy by 10%*. So, if you and your partner both have cars, if the kids have just bought their first car, or for whatever reason you just have more than one car at home, why not consider getting a quote? Plus, there's no limit to the number of cars you can insure with us, so every additional policy could benefit from a 10%* discount. *Terms and conditions apply.

Eligibility

  • The person requiring cover will need to get their quote for additional esure Car Insurance policies directly online via this Multicar webpage, using the ‘Get a quote’ links on this page.
  • The discount is applied automatically if all eligibility criteria are met.
  • Minimum of two cars must be insured with esure by people living permanently at the same address.
  • Discount only applies to additional esure Car Insurance policies.
  • Our normal quote acceptance criteria for your additional car insurance policies will apply.
  • Your discount will continue when you renew, as long as you continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
  • If a change in circumstances means you no longer meet this eligibility criteria, any discount on the remaining policy will be removed at the next renewal.
  • This Multicar discount offer is available from 20 April 2022. The terms on this page apply from this date.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Exclusions

  • The Multicar 10%* discount is only applied to your core premium – it does not apply to Optional Extras.
  • Additional esure Car Insurance policies bought via a price comparison website are not eligible for this discount.
  • Additional esure Car Insurance policies not taken out via this Multicar discount page are not eligible for this discount.
  • The car with the earliest policy start date in the household is not eligible for the Multicar discount.
  • esure Flex customers are not eligible for this discount.
  • Customers who benefit from any other offer are not eligible for this discount. Only one discount offer can be applied to your policy and this Multicar discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

Yes, you can add up to three named drivers to any of the cars you insure with us, subject to additional cost.

They’ll be kept separate is the short answer, so there will be no change to your existing renewal date. Your No Claims Discount (NCD) for each policy will also be kept separate, so a claim on one policy won’t affect the NCD of the other.

Our Multicar discount is a benefit for existing customers only, so you can only take advantage of the discount if you have an esure Car Insurance or esure Flex Car Insurance policy with us already.
